Best of Show Awards

Questex and InfoTrends are pleased to present the 5th Annual Best of Show Awards program for the ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition.

Entry Requirements:

• All entries must be submitted using an official entry form
• All entries must be received by March 12, 2010
• All entries must include a supporting statement of 250-500 words explaining why the product should be considered for “Best of Show” honors
• Only products introduced after April 2009 will be considered
• Products submitted must be on display or in use during the show
• You may submit the same product in more than one category provided you submit a separate entry form and provide supporting statements for each category entered. All entry requirements must be met for each separate entry.
   

Optional Requirements: (but recommended)

• Companies can submit supporting documentation such as spec sheets, technical reviews, case studies, and samples to demonstrate why their product is “Best of Show”.

Who is Eligible?

The Best of Show Awards are open to all ON DEMAND Exhibitors. Products submitted for entry must be on display or in use during the show.

Categories

One “Best of Show” winner will be announced for each category. Honorable mentions will also be identified in each category.

• 1:1 communications: software applications that enable the design, creation, and production of personalized or variable data documents. The category is broken out into the following: Variable Data Graphic Arts, Transactional/TransPromo, and Multi-Channel Communications.
• Bindery, Finishing and Mailing Equipment: systems for booklet making, collating, binding, cutting, folding, coating, converting, inserting and mailing
• Color Digital Printing Equipment: production color printing systems
• Innovations in Paper Usage and Substrates: submissions must demonstrate innovative use of consumables
• Innovative Use of Technology: open to all categories of hardware and software products showcased at ON DEMAND. Submissions must demonstrate innovative use of technology with supporting documentation.
• Monochrome Digital Printing Equipment: production monochrome printing systems
• Print MIS/ERP: software designed for printers that provide accounting and resource planning
• Web To Print Solutions: solutions using the web to facilitate production of printed jobs
• Workflow Solutions: solutions that help achieve automation and super-efficiency in managing the document lifecycle or a critical component

Reasons to Enter

1. Recognition – winners will be announced and showcased at the ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition on April 20-22, 2010 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. Winners will be announced and presented with awards during a press conference on the show floor . Additionally, winners will be allowed to display their awards in their exhibit area for added exposure and recognition.
2. Exposure – Your winning entry will be seen by thousands of people. Follow-up acknowledgement includes press releases and other exposure.
3. New Business – You are encouraged to promote your achievements to your clients, prospects and partners. Coupled with the exposure during and after the ON DEMAND show, the awards will help support your new business development efforts.

Judging

The competition will be judged by a diversified panel of distinguished professionals from the graphic arts and printing community. The judges are chosen for their accomplishments and extensive knowledge in this market and its technologies.

Judges will use a weighted combination of subjective and objective criteria in making their selections for best of show. In the case of a tie, InfoTrends analysts will make the final decision on the award recipient. The decisions of the judges are final.

Notification

Award recipients will be notified prior to the show and given time to prepare press announcements and promotions. All promotions must be held until the opening day of the show. Winners will be announced during the show on Tuesday, April 20th from 2:45pm - 3:15pm in the Application Showcase Theater located on the ON DEMAND show floor.
