The Lady of the Lake (Polish original title: Pani Jeziora) is the fifth and final novel in the Witcher Saga written by Polish fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski, first published in Poland in 1999. Whew, Lady in the Lake was a dizzying ride! She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Harry, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans. Tessa Young is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades, and a sweet boyfriend. The Lady of the Lake is a narrative poem set in the Trossachs region of Scotland. However, the rotating cast of narrators made my head spin. The U.S. edition was released by Orbit on 14 March 2017, with the first UK edition by Gollancz following a few days on 16 March 2017. The basics of the plot do have a lot of potential--the "lady in the lake" and her killer have to be identified, and recently separated Maddie Schwartz is on the case. It is a sequel to the fourth Witcher novel, The Tower of Swallows (Wieża Jaskółki). The second UK edition came out 8 March 2018.
