Parts of it felt like King's writing, but done clumsily. He gets bullied at school because he can’t read and his pants are too short.

Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky. 4 out of 5. Which for me felt forced and unnecessary. “Imaginary Friend” is Stephen Chbosky’s first new novel in 20 years, and it comes as a complete surprise. It's a masterpiece. Christopher is 7-year-old boy who lives a life of struggle. But he did it. Pretty disappointed overall.

Well, I was lukewarm on this at first, and then I really liked it, and then the last third of the book was fucking terrible. I understand the need for the twist. - Stephen Chbosky, Imaginary Friend Holy wow.
