Beginning on March 4, 2019, Houston’s Rothko Chapel will be temporarily closed while improvements, upgrades, and new constructions are added to the building and its campus.

The Rothko Chapel, which has been closed since March 4 of last year, and was scheduled to open this June after the completion of Phase One of its $30-million overall improvement plan, remains closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
